Global Sumud Flotilla activists have challenged the government to prosecute South Africans who have financed the Israeli military in their genocidal war against Gaza.

The group of six activists arrived at the OR Tambo International Airport after days of being detained by the Israeli military.

The six were part of a larger group of activists from around the world who sailed the Mediterranean to deliver aid to Gaza.

One of the activists, Mandla Mandela, said that they had evidence of South Africans who were financing the genocidal acts of Israel's military.

He has called on government to prosecute those identified.

Meanwhile, Parliament has welcomed the release of the detainees and has reiterated its call for an end to the conflict.
