South African National Parks (SANParks) has made history, reaching R4.1 billion in revenue and securing a clean audit for the 2024/2025 financial year.

The organisation said its growth will be reinvested into conservation and parks management across South Africa.

It recorded an 11% increase in revenue, up from R3.67 billion in 2024, and met 24 of its 28 performance targets.

“We have received an unqualified audit. Therefore, you can be assured that you are dealing with a partner of great integrity, and a partner who understands that business partnerships are key to its sustainability,” said SANParks CEO Hapiloe Sello.

Sello said SANParks will continue to prioritise conservation efforts in the year ahead.

“I use this opportunity to appeal to South Africa to say, please come on board, please join us in helping us preserve the natural assets of this country. We need you. We are a well-run organisation.”
