Wynberg cops seek public's help to bring 4 prison escapees to justice

Wynberg police are calling on the public for help in bringing four wanted criminals to justice.
Earlier this week, six inmates escaped police custody at the Wynberg Magistrates Court.
A manhunt was immediately launched, and two of the six were caught on the same day of their escape.
The details of how they managed to escape are still under investigation.
Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, urges the public to remain vigilant.
“The suspects between the ages of 22 and 33 appeared in court on charges of illegal possession of firearms, housebreaking, and a warrant of arrest. They were all remanded in custody after their court appearances. They are Linda Soyeza, Mphumeleli Lufutha, Ismail George and Tawfeeq Damo.”
