To celebrate Transport Month, Cape Town Silent Book Club is heading into the city from Muizenberg by railway on Saturday, 25 October.
Readers are invited to meet at Muizenberg Station at 10:50 am, with the train departing at 11:23 am and returning from the CBD at 1:30 pm, arriving back in Muizenberg at 2:23 pm.
Tickets are cash only, and regular Metrorail fares apply.
Silent Book Club Cape Town organiser Shawn Buck said: "There's something about doing something you love with other people; having community and being surrounded by people who like the same things as you.
"There's no pressure to finish anything or to talk to anyone if you don't want to. You can come and read and leave as soon as the reading is done, or you can stay and chat with people, or you can keep reading. You can choose your own adventure. There's a lot less pressure than a normal book club would be."
To hop on this, see the train schedule below.
