Police are still looking for leads in the gruesome murder of two young women who were found dead on the side of the road in Mamelodi, Pretoria. 

The girls, aged 21 and 22, were found by community members on Sunday.

They were found with gunshot wounds.

The motive of the killing remains unknown.

Gauteng police spokesperson Tintswalo Sibeko: "No arrests have been made and police are still investigating."
