The Proteas Women are one step away from glory, having booked their place in the World Cup final with an incredible win over England on Wednesday.
On Thursday night, India knocked the defending and seven-time World Champions, Australia, out with a stunning five-wicket victory following a record run chase at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai to secure their spot in the final against the Proteas.
Top-ranked Australia batted first and scored 338 runs in the second semi-final before being bowled out off the penultimate delivery.
"South Africa did well to win against England, who is a strong side," says famed cricket commentator Jeremy Fredericks, who expects a "heck of a final".
"As hungry as India is, so hungry is South Africa as well. If we could beat England, I don't see why we can't beat India as well.
"It's all about building pressure and putting that pressure on their opponents; that's exactly what South Africa inserted against England. If they can come on Sunday and put pressure on England again, I don't see why they can't lift that trophy.
"As good as India is, South Africa is just as good. If we come on Sunday prepared for the fight, I think it's going to be one heck of a final between these two teams."
