3 more suspects involved in Westbury mass shooting arrested

Three more suspects involved in the Westbury shooting have been arrested for a double murder.
This brings the total number of arrests to five in the October shooting of a group of teenagers in which two were killed and several others were wounded.
Two other men, believed to be the masterminds behind the attack, were arrested earlier.
Police spokesperson Brenda Muridili said that those arrested were between 17 and 20.
"The 17-year-old has been taken to a place of safety as per the Child Justice Act, while the 19- and 20-year-olds have been detained. They are facing two counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder. The three will be joining the first two accused on Thursday, the 6th of November 2025, when they appear before the Johannesburg Magistrates Court."
