FlySafair says it's finally reached an agreement with the South African Cabin Crew Association (SACCA), bringing an end to a several-week-long labour dispute.
The airline said the conclusion of this process marked the achievement of extended multi-year agreements with both unions representing FlySafair’s pilots and cabin crew, ensuring labour stability for the next four years.
FlySafair’s Kirby Gordon said they're now looking ahead to a period of continued growth and operational reliability as capacity is ramped up ahead of the G20 summit and the busy festive travel season.
"We're very pleased to confirm that we've reached an agreement with our cabin crew union, bringing to an end this recent labour dispute. Operations remained fully stable throughout and with four-year agreements now in place for both pilots and the cabin attendants, we can look forward, knowing we have stability amongst our crew. Our full focus can now return back to our passengers as we enter into this busy period."
