WATCH: Fan arrested after accosting Ariana Grande at Wicked sequel premiere

Singapore authorities have charged a man who rushed at Ariana Grande at the premiere of Wicked: For Good, in which she plays the central character of the Good Witch of the North.

Videos that have since gone viral on social media show Grande walking the yellow brick road carpet at Universal Studios alongside fellow Wicked co-stars, when the fan jumps over a barricade and grabs her.

Security personnel step in to remove the man, with Grande looking visibly shaken as she's comforted by Cynthia Erivo (Elphaba) and Michelle Yeoh (Madame Morrible).

The culprit has been identified as 26-year-old Australian citizen Johnson Wen, who goes by 'pyjamamann' on TikTok, where earlier footage shows him crashing the stage with other celebrities.

"Dear Ariana Grande, thank you for letting me jump on the yellow carpet with you", he posted after the incident.

Wen was charged with 'being a public nuisance' in a Singapore court on Friday.

He is set to appear in court again on Monday, reports AFP.

In her own TikTok post, another Wicked star,

"Oh, did you get your views? Did you get your likes? Guess what you also did? You made somebody feel incredibly unsafe... but that goes over your head. You're a bad person."
