A hot sun will grill Cape Town on Tuesday, with a light breeze mercifully keeping conditions from getting too dangerous.
Temperatures during the day are expected to be around 33 °C (92 °F), according to AccuWeather.
The wind will be coming from the south at about 14 km/h, with gusts reaching around 30 km/h. These breezes will offer some relief as the heat builds, but the overall feeling will remain hot.
Ultraviolet radiation will be extreme, with the maximum UV index reaching 11, making sun protection essential.
As evening falls and we move into the night, skies will turn mostly cloudy and temperatures will drop to roughly 17–18 °C.
