Robert Nwedo has resigned as deputy president of Floyd Shivambu’s newly formed Afrika Mayibuye Movement (AMM).
Nwedo gave the party notice on Tuesday.
His exit comes exactly a month after Nolubabalo Mcinga was fired by the party as its second deputy president following a fallout with its leader, Shivambu.
Nwedo said that he would communicate his reasons for leaving the party during a media briefing next week.
