Crime Intelligence boss Khumalo cleared to return to work after bail conditions relaxed

Corruption-accused Crime Intelligence boss Dumisani Khumalo has been cleared to return to work following the relaxation of his bail conditions.

The Pretoria High Court has granted Khumalo along with two other senior officers, Precious Madondo and Josias Lekalakala, permission to enter any Crime Intelligence office.

The trio has been facing charges of corruption and fraud relating to allegedly hiring an unqualified person to a senior position within Crime Intelligence.

One of their bail conditions was they were prohibited from entering any Crime Intelligence office in the country.

They have now successfully appealed that condition.
