SAWS forecasts chance of thunderstorms and hail for Gauteng

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned that Gauteng is the only province with persisting chances of severe thunderstorms.
Forecasters said there is a yellow Level 2 warning issued for the province, urging residents to avoid low lying bridges as there is a high likelihood of flooding.
The service added that a 60% chance of rain can be expected going into Wednesday afternoon.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution while driving as a hailstorm is also forecast.
