Multi-award-winning icon Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is set to return as a co-chair to the prestigious Met Gala after a decade-long hiatus.

The fundraising benefit, which is held annually for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City, announced its co-chairs on Wednesday. They include tennis legend Venus Williams and Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman.

The 2026 Met Gala will celebrate fashion's biggest night under the theme "Costume Art." The theme will explore the dressed body in artworks across the centuries and is scheduled for the 4th of May.

Carter's last attendance at the gala was in 2016 for the "Manus X Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" event, where she wore a striking look by Givenchy Haute Couture.

HOST COMMITTEE LED BY SAINT LAURENT
The night's host committee will be led by Saint Laurent designer Anthony Vaccarello and actress Zoë Kravitz.

The co-host committee is nothing short of star-studded, featuring a diverse lineup of singers, athletes, models, and actors. This includes:

Singers: Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith, Doja Cat, Teyana Taylor, Lisa, and Yseult.

Dancer: Misty Copeland.

NBA Star: A'ja Wilson.

Models: Lauren Wasser and Paloma Elsesser.

Artists & Actors: Anna Weyant, Elizabeth Debicki, Gwendoline Christie, and Lena Dunham.

Vogue Editor: Chloe Malle.
