Joburg police probing case of murder after man shot dead in CBD

Police are investigating the motive in the murder of Warren Stock popularly known as “DJ Warras”.

The 40-year-pld South African radio and club DJ was approached by three gunmen who opened fire on him while he was parking his vehicle in the Johannesburg CBD on Tuesday.

Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) officers were the first to respond after an alert from the public.

Police spokesperson Tintswalo Sibeko said no arrests have been made.

“The investigation is underway. No arrests have been made.”
