Family, friends and loved ones will gather in Sandton for the memorial service of media personality Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, on Friday.

The 40-year-old club and radio deejay was shot outside Zambesi House in the Johannesburg CBD on the Day of Reconciliation, Tuesday, 16 December.

The property owners had contracted Stock's company to provide security.

DJ Warras was widely known for his previous career as a presenter on many major radio stations in the country.

Meanwhile, the MMC for Public Safety, Mgcini Tshwaku, said four people have been taken in for questioning in connection with Stock's murder during a raid on Zambesi House on Thursday night.
 
“We confiscated a phone from a lady, and when we looked at the messages, there is some laughter where she says, ‘Oh, he died’. So, the extraction team has taken them for questioning. We have taken all their phones; we are going to go through them and all these conversations. So, someone in this building knows what is happening.”
