Majola entered the courtroom with a visible limp. During the proceedings, he attempted to shield his identity from the public and media, using a scarf and a hoodie to cover his face while seated in the dock.

His defence attorney, Dumisani Mabunda, formally requested that the court allow his client to seek medical attention. Majola claims that the physical assault occurred on the day of his arrest.

"He suffered serious injuries on his body, on his hands, and other parts of his body, so he seeks medical attention," Mabunda told the court.

Despite having no immediately visible injuries, Majola maintained that the severity of the alleged attack warrants an immediate medical check-up.

The court noted the defence's concerns as the legal process continues. Majola remains in custody as the investigation into the death of the popular media personality proceeds.
