The case against the second suspect in the murder of media personality Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, has been withdrawn.
On Monday, two suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested at a hostel in Soweto. However, during court proceedings, the State withdrew its case against the female suspect, citing a lack of evidence.

Stock was gunned down outside the Zambesi House building in Johannesburg’s CBD. At the time of the incident, he had been contracted to enforce security at the premises.
Initially, three people were suspected to have been involved in the incident, including one individual with dreadlocks.
On Wednesday, 44-year-old Victor Majola appeared in court alone, covering his face with a scarf and the hood of his jacket.
Magistrate Simon Radasi instructed Majola to remove the items from his face so he could be properly identified and ordered him to sit up straight.
During the brief appearance, Majola was read his charges by the State prosecutor.
“The accused is charged with premeditated murder, as well as conspiracy to commit murder. The deceased was shot. The State is opposed to bail, as this is a Schedule 6 offence.”
The matter was postponed to 6 January for a formal bail application.
