American actor and director Timothy Busfield is known for a variety of succesful television series, including The West Wing and Thirtysomething.
The well-known actor and director is accused of sexually abusing twin boys on the set of a TV series.
But he's currently in the news for another reason, as Primedia's Digital Content Editor Barbara Friedman explains.
"There are allegations against him, made by the parents and these 11-year-old twins that were in a series called The Cleaning Lady a few years ago with him, where he apparently inappropriately touched them. Of course this is all in an allegation stage."
When the warrant for his arrest was issued by the Albuquerque police, however, he disappeared for a few days.
"He has now handed himself in... he was definitely 'missing', which didn't make him look innocent... but he did a video where he says he's innocent, and he's going to fight this. There are claims that these child stars were replaced on the series, and they have a bit of a vendetta about this.
"We don' know the truth... he must be tried, and he must be found guilty or he must be aquitted."
