During a media briefing on Wednesday, which comes after the IFP NEC meeting, the party said it has resolved to get in talks with all GPU partners.
“The IFP NEC has directed that our GPU partners, including the NFP, must be engaged to ensure stability, good governance, and service delivery in KZN. And accordingly, these engagements by the IFP are, therefore, currently underway,” said its national chairperson, Blessed Gwala.
And despite the NFP President Ivan Barnes accusing the IFP of arrogance, Gwala said they still want to meet NFP leaders.
“Specifically, we will engage the NFP to understand better their areas of concern and difference in order to find lasting solutions.”
