Kruger National Park to reopen southern gates following floods

As weather conditions begin to clear, Kruger National Park has announced it will reopen its doors to day visitors starting Monday.
Parts of the national park were temporarily closed last week due to severe flooding. The lifting of certain restrictions means that entry into the southern region of the park will once again be permitted.
ACCESS POINTS AND SAFETY
Visitors can access the park through the following gates:
Paul Kruger Gate
Numbi Gate
Malelane Gate
Phabeni Gate
Park officials have urged guests to exercise extreme caution and avoid gravel roads, as several sections may still be affected by recent rainfall.
While the south is reopening, the northern part of Kruger National Park remains inaccessible at this stage. Management confirmed that this area will stay closed until essential repairs to roads and bridges have been completed.
