After a lengthy international break, South African domestic football returns to action as four midweek fixtures signal the recommencement of the Betway Premiership.

SUNDOWNS KICK OFF 2026

In order to honour their CAF Champions League fixture at the weekend, reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns are the first to play in 2026. They host Orbit College at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on Monday, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30pm.

Masandawana currently sit second on the standings with 26 points, trailing leaders Orlando Pirates by two points. However, Sundowns have played one more game than the Buccaneers, making this fixture crucial for keeping pace at the top.

HIGH STAKES FOR ORBIT COLLEGE

Orbit College arrive in Pretoria sitting 13th on the table with 13 points after 14 games. Only two points clear of the relegation zone, the visitors will be desperate to dent the Brazilians’ title hopes while boosting their own ambitions of staying in the top flight.

TUESDAY NIGHT ACTION

The excitement continues on Tuesday as Kaizer Chiefs face Lamontville Golden Arrows at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. Kick-off is set for 7:30 PM CAT.

Amakhosi have enjoyed a strong league campaign thus far, occupying fourth place with 24 points—just four behind the summit. Meanwhile, Arrows find themselves stuck in mid-table with 16 points, looking to find the consistency needed to climb the log.
