The long-running trial into the murder of football star Senzo Meyiwa resumes in the Pretoria High Court on Monday morning.
The trial is entering its fourth year, with five men standing trial.
The Bafana Bafana captain was gunned down at the home of his girlfriend, singer Kelly Khumalo, in October 2014.
The State believes the murder was a hit called by Khumalo.
It will be 12 years in 2026 since Meyiwa was shot in Vosloorus at the home of his girlfriend in the east of Johannesburg.

While the trial has been moving at a snail’s pace, in 2025, the State wrapped up its case and it is now the defence’s turn to call its witnesses.
Before the trial went on recess, Sifiso Gwabini Zungu, one of the key defence witnesses, was on the stand.
Like some of the accused, Zungu claims the lead investigator, Bongani Gininda, assaulted him, forcing him to sign a statement about the day Meyiwa was murdered.
The court now wants to hear from Gininda on his version.
