Three pupils injured in Elspark minibus taxi crash

Three pupils have been injured in a road accident while on their way to school in Elspark, Ekurhuleni on Tuesday.
Emergency teams said they were notified about a crash at around 7:30 on Tuesday, involving a minibus taxi transporting school children and a small vehicle on Kingfisher Avenue.
Three of the nine pupils were injured.

Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services' spokesperson, William Ntladi, said traffic was disrupted while the accident scene was being cleared.
“On arrival no entrapments were found in both vehicles. The three injured scholars were medically treated on scene before being transported by private ambulance to a nearby medical facility.”
