He spoke at the funeral of the two boys, who were laid to rest in Sebokeng in the Vaal earlier on Saturday.

The cousins were among a group of learners in a taxi on Monday when the driver attempted to overtake several vehicles and collided with a truck.

Motaung said family members must acknowledge their mistakes, learn from them, and move forward together.

“I am saying to my family, anyone you have ever fought with forgive each other and never go to bed angry at each other because we do not know when our last day on earth is.”
