Eleven Western Cape Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) members are set to appear in the Athlone Magistrates Court for the alleged murder of Manenberg resident Wade Price.
Price was arrested in December and died after allegedly being suffocated while being interrogated about a murder a week before his death.
Ten of the accused were denied bail just before Christmas last year, while another was released with strict instructions to stay out of Manenberg.
Price was arrested on 4 December last year to be interrogated about a murder outside the Athlone Magistrates Court.

Police alleged Price complained of an earache and collapsed, but an Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) investigation later determined he died of unnatural causes.
Lawyer for the 11 accused, Bruce Hendricks, said the State is expected to provide an update on its investigation when the matter proceeds on Thursday.
"The big question is whether they have finally obtained the post-mortem report," Hendricks said.
Hendricks said he would also attend a Western Cape High Court hearing on Friday to appeal the decision to deny his clients' bail application.
