A new witness is expected to appear before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry on Monday morning.
Due to safety concerns, the commission said it will not reveal the identity of the witness until the eleventh hour.
Last week, KwaZulu-Natal Hawks boss Lesetja Senona testified for most parts of the week.

During his appearance last week, Senona was grilled about his close ties with criminally accused tender don, Vusimuzi “Cat” Matlala.
Senona attempted to justify their “brotherly” bond by claiming to be unaware of Matlala being probed by the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) and Hawks.
Matlala was previously linked to the multi-billion-rand Tembisa Hospital extraction syndicate, exposed by slain whistleblower Babita Deokaran.
On Saturday, Senona was physically removed from his office in Durban by members of the South African Police Service (SAPS).
Some of his State devices were confiscated.
This, after President Cyril Ramaphosa identified the names of 14 people implicated in the Madlanga Commission's three-month interim report, filed to his office on 17 December.
Senona was one of five senior ranking officers named in the report who will be investigated by a newly formed special task team, reporting to National Police Commissioner Fanie Masemola.
