EWN has been reliably informed that the money paid for the murder of the 40-year-old media personality was split between three people.
On Monday morning, 25-year-old Armindo Pacula appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court.
He was arrested on Friday in the East Rand - more than a month after Stock was killed in Johannesburg’s CBD.
Pacula was allegedly paid R7,000 to shoot and kill media personality, Warrick Stock, commonly known as DJ Warras.
Sources close to the investigation told EWN that R25,000 was initially coughed up for Stock’s murder.
This money was believed to have been split three ways: between the alleged shooter, Pacula, his accomplice, who was caught on CCTV footage with Pacula on the day of the murder, and the owner of the firearm, who is yet to be arrested.
Stock was shot five times in Johannesburg’s CBD on 16 December 2025.
While police have yet to reveal any details around the paymaster for the hit, they’ve confirmed that 44-year-old Soweto taxi boss Victor Majola allegedly orchestrated Stock’s murder.
Majola was arrested six days after Stock was killed and was denied bail last month.
