WEATHER: Gauteng remains hot on Wednesday, Cape Town braces for hectic wind

Johannesburg and Pretoria will have warm to hot conditions on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and highs generally in the low-30s Celsius, according to AccuWeather.

Afternoon temperatures are expected to peak around 33 °C, with mild to moderate wind and only isolated chances of brief late-day showers or thundershowers.

Overnight lows will fall to the high teens to low 20s °C.

In Cape Town, a pleasant but breezy day is expected. Temperatures will reach around 26 °C during the day.

The Cape Doctor is likely to pick up in the afternoon, bringing gusts that make the air feel slightly cooler near the shoreline.

Conditions will be mostly dry and comfortable, with cloud breaks giving way to sunshine.
