Fourth suspect turns himself in following murder of e-hailing driver

A fourth suspect has handed himself over to police this afternoon in relation to the murder of e-hailing driver David Satlat.
The 22-year-old Satlat was strangled to death last Wednesday by a man and woman who had requested his service. His body and car were later found in Atteridgeville on the day of his murder—an incident captured by a dashcam inside his car.
This latest development comes after three other suspects were remanded in custody on Monday after abandoning their bail during their first appearance before the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.

The trio is charged with premeditated murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances. Police spokesperson Colonel Mavela Masondo says the fourth suspect will also face charges of kidnapping and murder.
