South Africa among few ‘safe’ countries if World War 3 starts

As global tensions dominate headlines, a new discussion has gone viral: which countries would be safest if World War III were to break out?
Primedia+ Digital Content Editor Barbara Friedman discussed a viral list making the rounds.
It highlights nations known for neutrality, geographic isolation, or strong civil defence systems.
Fiji is in the number one spot. The small Polynesian island Tuvalu came in second, and New Zealand took third place.
Switzerland has also made the list, says Friedman. "Whether that's a hangover from their World War II past. The fence sitters...
"Just to be clear, we do make the cut. We are number 11 on the one list that I saw," says Friedman.
While experts stress that this is speculative rather than a forecast, it clearly taps into growing public anxiety about global conflict.
