Canadian singer Céline Dion has announced that she will be returning to the stage, four years after being diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome.
The iconic singer revealed on Monday, on her 58th birthday, that she will be performing in Paris for 10 concerts, beginning on 12 September.
The highly anticipated announcement came after an ad campaign was spotted on the streets of Paris and a light show on the Eiffel Tower.

In a birthday message, Dion said that she couldn’t wait to get back on stage.
“It's been hard keeping it a secret from myself, but I want to let you know that I am doing great. My energy, my health, I am feeling good, I am singing again, and even doing a little bit of dancing.
“Over these last few years, every day that’s come by, I have felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love… You have helped me in ways that I can’t even describe… I have missed you so much.”

In 2022, Dion put her career on hold after she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called Stiff‑Person Syndrome, which causes severe muscle spasms.
