Johannesburg will see unsettled conditions on Wednesday, with thunderstorms expected in parts of the city in the afternoon, according to AccuWeather.
Temperatures will reach 23°C, with cloudy skies and a high cloud cover of 97%. There is a 55% chance of rain, with around 6.4 mm expected, while thunderstorms are possible. Winds will blow from the NNW at 11 km/h, with gusts up to 32 km/h.
Conditions will begin clearing overnight, with temperatures dropping to 12°C. Winds will shift to SSE at 7 km/h, with gusts reaching 20 km/h. The chance of rain stands at 25%, with a slight 6% risk of thunderstorms and cloud cover at 66%.
Pretoria will also experience unstable conditions, with a risk of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Daytime temperatures will climb to 25°C, with cloudy skies and cloud cover at 92%.
