The high-profile trial of alleged underworld gang boss Nafiz Modack has been postponed after the defence failed to find a witness to testify.
Modack, who is on trial along with 14 co-accused, faces 122 charges related to the alleged operation of a criminal enterprise.
The matter was set to proceed on Wednesday, but was delayed yet again after Modack's lawyer requested a postponement.
Modack's lawyer, Advocate Bashier Sibda, told the court the defense's next witness is only available on Tuesday next week.
Presiding Judge Robert Henney questioned Sibda about why he had promised the court a new witness would testify on Wednesday.

Henney: "But you said you have a witness for today."
Sibda: "Yes, my lord, but I changed my mind on calling the witnesses. I did consult with two witnesses yesterday telephonically, but I decided against it."
Henney: "So they won't take your case any further?"
Sibda: "Yes, my lord."
Henney reluctantly agreed to postpone the matter for the defence's new witness to testify on Tuesday next week.
