Motorists in the Johannesburg CBD are advised to expect traffic disruptions on Wednesday as civic group March and March takes its protest to the Gauteng Legislature.
On Tuesday, the group demonstrated in Pretoria and marched to the Union Buildings to hand over a memorandum calling for tighter immigration controls.
Similar action has also been seen in parts of KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape as the movement gains momentum.

The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) said that more than 500 protesters are expected to take part in the march, which will start in Berea and move through the inner city to the legislature.
Several key routes are expected to be affected between 9am and 3pm.
JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla explained: "Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays along Jeppe Street, Loveday Street, and the vicinity of the Gauteng provincial legislature between 09:00 and 15:00. Law enforcement officers will be on-site to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety.
"Safety is our priority, and we remind all participants that failure to comply with the Conditions of the act is a punishable offense."
