Babita Deokaran raised the alarm on corruption within the Department of Health and Tembisa Hospital.
Her bravery in exposing this unfortunately led to her death, as she was killed in a hit-style assassination outside her South Johannesburg home.
Her murder drew attention to the dangers that whistleblowers still face in South Africa.
Four years on, the country is still waiting for justice for Deokaran.
Rakesh Deokaran says that the family will never get over this loss and wants the mastermind behind her murder to be exposed.
“If you look at the media, it will show you there was a trial. All you have to do is chase the money.”
