The Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) has commended the work of law enforcement agents who caught the third suspect in the murder case of the party's Deputy Chief Whip, Khethamabala Sithole.
On Thursday, one of the suspects, Zamani Ximba, was shot and killed after police located him at his hiding place in Duduza, Ekurhuleni.

In May this year, it's alleged that Ximba and two others shot at Sithole and two other people at a hostel in Katlehong.
The team that apprehended him included the Hawks’ Tracking Team, the Benoni Tactical Response Team, Crime Intelligence, and other South African Police Service (SAPS) members.
Police said when they attempted to arrest Ximba yesterday, he pointed a firearm at them, and they opened fire.
At the time of the shooting, two other suspects who were allegedly working with Ximba had been arrested a few days earlier and charged with murder and attempted murder.
While the IFP welcomes the developments of the murder investigation, the party says it still needs clarity on the motive.
The two remaining suspects are set to return to the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court on 20 November 2025.
