Creatine and collagen are generally safe to take together and can have many positive effects.
These supplements are natural and can work together to repair and strengthen the body.
Taking both supplements may improve muscle strength, help brain function, reduce muscle soreness, and help joints and skin.
Van der Westhuizen tested a product that combined both, called Body Bomb, and says she could see a difference in her nails, which seemed healthier after using the product.
"Body Bomb combines the benefits of pure creatine monohydrate with the protein-packed amino acid complex of pure hydrolysed gelatin to boost your performance and speed up recovery," says Primal Wellness founder Jess Menemini.
It comes in sachets with 2.5 grams of collagen and 2.4 grams of creatine, making it convenient for on-the-go use.
The product uses the purest form of creatine, imported from Germany under strict quality controls, says Menemini.
"We bring you a pure, powerful supplement designed to fuel performance and recovery without the unnecessary additives to help you stay strong inside and out... whether you're an athlete, weekend warrior or just want to age strong, Body Bomb is your go-to power, performance and recovery supplement."
