Prince Harry briefly reunited with his father, King Charles III, marking their first face-to-face meeting since February 2024.
The Duke of Sussex was in London to attend a reception for the Invictus Games, the international sporting event he founded in 2014 for wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women.
Before the reception, Prince Harry visited Clarence House, where he and King Charles shared a private tea, confirmed by Buckingham Palace. The meeting reportedly lasted around 50 minutes.
When asked by reporters about his father following the visit, Prince Harry simply replied: "Yes, he's great."
Royal watchers are seeing the meeting as a potential step toward mending the long-strained relationship between father and son.
"I'm calling it, when Harry met Charles..." romcom lovers will get it, says Friedman.
"Whether you care about this or not, they had their tea... and I suppose that's good for any family... nothing can't be solved in England like a cuppa tea," adds Friedman.
