Five people were killed in a mass shooting at a Bangkok food market on Monday, 28 July.

The shooter killed the security guards at the Or Tor Kor Market before taking his own life.

On the same day, on the other side of the world a mass shooting took place in New York.

A gunman, later identified as Shane Tamura, stormed into a building which houses the Blackstone and the NFL headquarters and opened fire.

Four people were killed before he turned the gun on himself.

In Reno, Nevada, another mass shooting took place when a gunman opened fire outside a casino, killing three people.
