‘Tsotsi’ actor Presley Chweneyagae has died, aged 40

Tributes pour in for the late actor.

South African actor Presley Chweneyagae has passed away at the age of 40.

He rose to prominence after starring in the 2005 film ‘Tsotsi’, which won an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. 

He went on to star in fan-favourites ‘The River’, ‘Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ and more recently, ‘Cobrizi’.

The cause of death is not yet known.
