DMRE announces fuel price hike for March

JOHANNESBURG - Motorists will dig deeper in their pockets as both petrol and diesel prices are set to substantially increase.
Both grades of petrol will go up by R1.20 per litre, while diesel will go up by R1.05 per litre.
The official adjustment of fuel prices comes into effect on Wednesday.
The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) attributes the increases to the depreciating rand-to-dollar exchange.
