Power restored to Tshwane following major outage

JOHANNESBURG - Power has been restored to all affected areas in Tshwane.
This is after a major power outage on Monday night left 95,000 residents in the dark.
In a statement on Tuesday, the utility said its technicians had been deployed to the scene in an attempt to restore lights across many households and business.
This as Gauteng grapples with cold weather conditions.
The utility said it successfully replaced the voltage transformer at the Babelegi substation.
Eskom spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, thanked residents for their patience.

Electricity supply is restored in Bridgeview, Dilopye, Eersterus, GaMotla, Hammanskraal West, Hans Kekana, Kudube, Majaneng, Makapanstad, Mashimong, Mathibestad, Rens, Sekampaneng, Stinkwater , Suurman and Temba.
