JOHANNESBURG - Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka is expected to brief the media on findings on the difficulties experienced by victims of gender-based violence (GBV) when reporting their cases at magistrates' courts across the country.
Her office investigated a sample of 38 magistrates courts across all nine provinces and uncovered some areas of concern.

Gcaleka will hand over the report, with recommendations, to the Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, John Jeffreys.
