Some concerned ANC members to protest outside NEC meeting against coalition with DA

JOHANNESBURG - A group of concerned African National Congress (ANC) members is set to stage a protest against calls for a coalition with the Democratic Alliance (DA).
The group is planning to demonstrate outside the party’s national executive committee (NEC) meeting venue in Ekurhuleni.

They said the DA stood in sharp contrast with the values and principles of the ANC.
The group's representative, Esethu Hasane: "Voters rejected DA’s regressive stance on transformation, on economic inclusion and general regress of past imbalances. They [The DA] declared the ANC 'enemy number one', that South Africa needed to be rescued from."
