JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng has announced it will not form part of Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi's Cabinet following a failure to reach an agreement with the African National Congress (ANC).
The party said it was not satisfied with the ANC's offer, insisting it was unreasonable and unfair.
In a statement, the DA said that the ANC had ignored principles outlined in the Government of National Unity (GNU)'s statement of intent during negotiations.
