Are soulmates real? ‘It’s almost a spiritual connection’

Many people have a dream of meeting the special someone they are destined to spend their life with.

While some people hold a strong belief that soulmates exist, and may think they have found theirs, others think it is just a myth and you can ‘make’ a soulmate.

The idea behind a soulmate is that there is one person out there who you will share a deeper connection, than what normally exists in a friendship or relationship.

This idea has existed throughout history, with Plato describing an idea of early humans with two faces and four arms and legs before they were split in half by Zues.

After this he said they spent the rest of their lives searching for their other half.

While feeling your partner is your soulmate can be a beautiful thing, and show you have a deep connection, it can also come with complications.

Quinsee says the idea of a soulmate can put a person under pressure with them feeling that they must be perfect all the time.

“We are human at the end of the day and there are going to be times when we are going to disappoint our partner or let them down.”

There is a very romantic idea behind finding your soulmate, but not every story is as you would expect.

One 702 listener shared the story of the day he met a woman in a red dress and instantly knew he wanted to spend his life with her.

However, he was already in a relationship.

He approached the woman and told her he wanted to be with her, and she ended up going with him to a public phone to hear him break up with his current girlfriend.

This was in 2004, and he is still with the woman in the red dress, and they have two children together.
