The Western Cape has been pummeled by relentless forces of nature since Sunday, enduring fierce winds, torrential rains, hail, snow, and violent thunderstorms.
The onslaught is far from over, with more severe weather looming.
At least 7000 structures and homes in Khayelitsha, Mzamo, Lwandle, Strand, Macassar, Gugulethu, Masiphumelele, Sir Lowry's Pass Village, Vygieskraal, Tafelsig, and Mfuleni have been obliterated by the storm’s fury.

To add to the region's woes, the South African Weather Service expects two more cold fronts to barrel into the Western Cape towards the end of the week.
