KZN doctor linked to sexual harassment cases to appear in court

A KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) doctor (69) linked to several sexual harassment cases will make his first appearance before the Madadeni Magistrates Court on Thursday.
 
The doctor is accused of targeting his female patients, allegedly touching them inappropriately. 
 
He was nabbed following various complaints about him to the police.
 
The 69-year-old doctor is accused of unnecessarily touching women’s breasts and private parts during consultations at a State hospital in Newcastle.  
 
It is alleged that he would also force the victims to perform sexual acts on him. 
 
According to the police, this has been happening since August last year. 
 
Officers said they received an anonymous tip-off that led to his arrest.
