2024 Paris Olympics: Team SA eyes relay medal

Team South Africa is back in action at the 2024 Paris Olympics today.

After clocking the second-fastest time in the heats, the team will be looking for a podium finish in tonight’s 4x100m relay.

Here is the team’s full schedule for Friday, 9 August: 

9 am: Golf (Women’s Round 3) – Paula Reto; Ashleigh Buhai

11.05 am: Canoe Sprint (Men’s K-2 500m Semi-final 1) – Hamish Lovemore and Andrew Birkett

11.40 am: Athletics (Men’s 800m Semi-final 2) – Edumund du Plessis

11.17 am: Athletics (Men’s 4x400m Relay Heat 2) – Zakithi Nene, Lythe Pillay, Gardeo Issacs and Antonie Nortjie

12.21 pm: Athletics (Women’s 100m Hurdles Semi-final 3) – Marione Fourie

3 pm: Diving (Women’s 3m Springboard Final) – Julia Vincent

7.47 pm: Athletics (Men’s 4x100m Relay Final) – Akani Simbine, Shaun Maswanganyi, Sinesipho Dambile, Bradley Nkoana and Bayanda Walaza
